PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due upon signing our
written retainer. We accept all major
credit cards. cash, checks, Western

Recent Cases: Criminal
Attempted murder:
Court: Van Nuys:
Male defendant No 2 charged with:
Attempted murder, mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of special allegations,
using deadly weapon:
Defendant and his co defendant were charged with attacking,
and striking the alleged victim, then striking him with a knife,
causing severe abdominal injury requiring emergency surgery and
hospitalization. After
a 3 day preliminary hearing the court dismissed all felony charges
( all strikes) and special allegations against defendant No 2. As
for, the single remaining charge "assault by means likely to
produce great bodily injury", a plea bargain was arranged.
Defendant agreed to probation with no jail time, on condition of
participating in anger management classes. As part of the plea
negotiations, defendant's record will be expunged in one year. As
of the time of this update, Co defendant's trial is pending.
Burglary and theft
Court: Van Nuys
Eighteen year old male defendant was charged with two counts of
burglary and one count of theft.
Disposition: All counts were dismissed. Client plead to a trespass
with 2 years of informal probation.
Red light Project:
Court: Van Nuys
Male client was charged with red light vehicle code violation.
Disposition: Case dismissed.
Possession with intent to sell:
Court: East Los Angeles
Female defendant charged with: Possession with intent to sell a
quarter pound of methamphetamine, drug Paraphernalia such as
bongs, scales, clear dispenser bags, possession of an armed
unlicensed firearm with special allegations.
Defendant was
arrested after the above items ere found in
defendant's automobile shortly after she had dropped off a friend.
Disposition: All
charges were dismissed at the preliminary hearing. As for the
remaining
misdemeanor, defendant was placed on formal probation, with time
served.
DUI
Court: Metro. LA
Disposition:
Charges were suspended with no jail time imposed. Client was
placed on probation paid a fine
and enrolled in AB 541 classes.
DUI Medical Marijuana
Court: Van Nuys
Disposition:
Charges were dropped before arraignment.
Forgery and attempted sale of stolen credit cards
Male defendant. Central
Court.
Disposition: All charges were dismissed
Vandalism
Court: Beverly Hills
Male defendant's were accused of painting graffiti in their
neighborhood at night time. A neighbor called the police and they were
arrested.
Disposition: Informal probation. Defendant's were sentenced to remove graffiti and pay
restitution.
Burglary and theft
Court: Van Nuys. Male client was charged with stealing a mp3
player at Fry's electronics. Defendant was caught on video tape and
had signed
a confession at fry's.
Disposition:. Charges were reduced to a unrelated
misdemeanor. Defendant was placed on summary probation, and fined.
This client avoided deportation consequences by a negotiated
delineation of the court record.
Burglary and theft with prior
Court: Van Nuys. Male client was arrested for
burglary and theft 4 years after a prior conviction for the same
offense. Client was charged with petty theft, and burglary
with pc 666 enhancement for theft with a prior.
Disposition. Client was placed on probation
Assault and Battery
Court: San Jose
Female defendant was charged with domestic violence which made her subject to deportation had she plead
guilty to the charges. The acting Public defender was instructed on
the alternate plea of breach of the peace, which defendant plead
to with no immigration consequences.
Medical Fraud:
Court: Long Beach
Disposition: All charges were dismissed after
County welfare exonerated client from
wrongdoing in an administrative hearing.
Hit and Run:
Court: Van Nuys
Armenian male client who spoke very little English was charged with a hit
and run with injury after he walked away from
a car accident to get his driver license. After interviewing the
complainants, it came about that the victim's had lied
about the nature and circumstances of the accident. Were in
fact driving on a suspended license, on the wrong side of the road.
After the prosecuting deputy, refused to pay attention to the
facts, the deputies supervisor was contacted.
Disposition: All charges were
dismissed and client plead to an infraction with a hundred dollar fine.
Hit and Run
Court Van Nuys.
Male defendant was charged with a hit and run a week after getting
involved in a minor fender bender.
Disposition: Charges were
dismissed after a civil compromise.
Driving on a suspended license
Court: Airport
Disposition:
Charges were dismissed. Male Defendant plead to driving on a
expired driver license and paid a fine
Reckless driving:
Court: Malibu
Male defendant was cited for driving in excess of the posted speed
limit on the opposite side of Malibu Canyon Road. He was charged with
Reckless driving, a
misdemeanor.
Disposition: The charges were reduced to an infraction and
client paid a fine.
FBI. investigation.
After the FBI interviewed the male individual,
he became a suspect.
The investigation ended after our intervention convinced the
special agent, that the
suspicions were unfounded.
Domestic violence police investigation
Location: Saugus. CA
Male defendant was arrested at work after neighbors called the police on
suspicion of an assault in progress.
Disposition: After cautioning the investigating detective to not
contact my client, I proceeded with interviewing the witness
complainant and neighbors. After
lengthy discussions with law enforcement the investigating detective
was convinced to not forward the matter for prosecution.
Vandalism:
Eighteen year old male defendant was investigated for burning and ruining a
carpet in a apartment complex community room.
Disposition:
After my intervention
detectives were convinced that the double hearsay allegations
would be inadmissible in court
and the matter was dropped.
Theft of electric vehicle:
Eighteen year old client was investigated on suspicion of hiding
with the intent to steal an electric go cart in condominium
complex. After my intervention the charges were not pursued.
Stolen Car allegation:
Location: West Hills
Sheriff, released my male client after telephone discussion
Stalking and annoying phone calls
Court: Van Nuys
Suspect was accompanied to the City attorney's
office where no charges were filed after the office visit.
Homeland Security passport forfeiture
